About CA Intermediate Course
The CA Intermediate examination is the second level of the Chartered Accountancy course conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It is a comprehensive examination that tests students' knowledge in advanced accounting, corporate law, taxation, auditing, and other core areas of accountancy.

Eligibility Criteria
- Students who have passed CA Foundation examination
- Commerce graduates / post-graduates with 55% marks (or equivalent)
- Non-commerce graduates / post-graduates with 60% marks (or equivalent)
- Students who have passed Intermediate level of ICMAI or ICSI
Exam Pattern & Key Details
- Conducted twice a year - May and November
- 6 papers divided into 2 groups (3 papers each)
- Students can appear for one group or both groups together
- Each paper is of 100 marks with 3 hours duration
- Minimum 40% in each paper and 50% aggregate in the group to pass
- Exemption granted for papers where 60% or more marks are scored
